What a rare find. This cherry and walnut Victorian multi drawer cabinet is quite narrow and would serve a myriad of purposes. Imagine it as a collectors or specimen cabinet, as a lingerie cabinet, or silver chest. It would work great in a hall or bathroom. The possibilities are endless. There is a cast brass gallery followed by 2 small drawers above 4 larger drawers with a door below. All the hand dovetailed drawers have dramatic burled walnut fronts and their original fancy cast brass pulls. The door has a recessed paneled front with burled walnut and its working lock with key. The sides each have 2 recessed panels as well. If you look closely you will see a small 4” piece of molding is off the back left side of the cabinet. It is hardly worth noting and does not distract from its presence. The finish appears original and is in excellent condition having a very desirable color and patina.
