This 2 piece living room set consists of a matching sofa and chair. The set dates from the 1920-1930’s and has been recently recovered in a light beige neutral colored fabric which is in excellent condition. Both pieces are extremely comfortable. The mahogany frames were most likely refinished when they were reupholstered and are also in excellent condition. The shapely arms have acanthus leaf carvings on the arm rests and along the arm supports. Notice the delicate floral carvings along the backs. The seats are shapely and generous. The couch and armchair rest on deep pierced carved scrolled feet. This 2 piece set is of exceptional value given their nearly new condition. The sofa measure 78” long, 36” tall and 32” deep. The armchair measures 31” wide, 36” tall and 30” deep.
