This cherry child’s toy or salesman’s sample dry sink is remarkable. We have never owned one before! Dry sinks were common in the mid 1800’s to early 1900’s before running water became common place in the home. They were used in the kitchen to wash dishes. This dry sink has a unique lift lid (to hide those dirty dishes!) and a small cutlery drawer as well. Below is a recessed paneled door and additional pot storage. The finish is in excellent condition having a desirable color and patina. Notice the unique shapely cut out design between the front legs and side legs.
