This large platter has the blue bee hive or shield mark associated with Royal Vienna porcelain. The oval shaped platter has 2 open gilded handles. The hand painted gold gilt is used throughout to outline green, gold and wine colored decorative panels. The center of the platter has a beautiful hand painted scene of a man and woman being lead through the mountains by a cherub or cupid. The man is holding a lyre. There is some minor loss of gold gilding on the handles. The rest of the platter is in excellent condition.
