  • Circa: 1890's
  • Stock #: S421
  • Measurements: 46"h X 24"w X 15"d
  • Price: $375.00

This lovely Victorian music cabinet is hand painted and stenciled depicting a bouquet of roses and a courting scene. The back fancy crest has a shell and leaf designed carving. Just below the shapely top is a brass lever that automatically opens the serpentine shaped doors. The front of the doors has a scene of a woman playing what appears to be a pianoforte and a gentleman playing a box organ. Both are dressed in 17th century attire. Inside the cabinet are 2 pull out shelves. There appears to be room for 4 more. There is a patent date on one of the brass hinges which reads Nov. 14, 1899. The music cabinet rests on tall slender serpentine shaped legs. The finish is original and in good condition.
