This walnut Victorian bookcase is from the Renaissance Revival period. The unique, heavily carved crest has a portrait of a man. Could it be Beethoven or some famous literary author? The bookcase has 2 glass doors with carved elements at the top of each and further carving on the front corners. The bookcase is missing its lock on the right door. Inside are 3 original adjustable shelves which each measure 8 ½” deep. The bookcase rests on a stepped out base having 2 drawers. Each drawer retains its original pulls and working lock. The bookcase appears to retain its original finish which is in very good condition. The bookcase comes apart in 3 pieces for ease in transporting.
