This solid cherry chest of drawers is from the late Sheraton period. The top drawer has a wonderful banded inlay of mahogany. All 4 graduated and hand dovetailed drawers have brass pulls. The drawers open and close smoothly. Notice the delicately carved reeding along the sides of the drawers and above the top drawer. The dresser rests on tall, elegantly turned and carved feet. The finish is in excellent condition having a rich color and warm patina.
