This solid maple chest of drawers displays dramatic tiger maple on the drawer fronts and side columns. The hand dovetailed drawers have their period glass pulls and original locks. Notice the top drawer with the unusual “D” shaped front. The “S” shaped side columns add to its appeal. The dresser rests on bun feet. The chest of drawers has an older finish having a warm color and patina. The finish is in very good condition with the top having the expected stains and rubs. The dresser has a wonderful presence.
