This lovely Italian classically inspired lamp is generally referred to as Capo di Monte porcelain. The vase shaped body rests on a plinth with small cast brass feet. The lamp is entirely hand painted with raised female figures encircling the vase and male faces at the base of the handles. There are also raised floral designs along the plinth and throughout the lamp. The base of the lamp measures 3.75” wide and long. The height to the top of the porcelain is 11.5” tall. The brass double sockets with pull chains are original and in excellent working condition. The lamp base is also in excellent condition and only awaits a new silk shade to be its best.
