This large porcelain lamp has a hand painted portrait of Joan of Arc. The painting on the vase shaped lamp is beautifully executed. Joan of Arc is in period dress holding her helmet and sword. The vase rests on a heavily cast base. The height of only the vase is 16". The height from the bottom of the base to the brass cap covering the vase is 18". The height from the bottom of the base to the finial above the harp which holds the shade is 32". The harp is designed to be adjusted taller if needed. An additional 6" can be added, if necessary, by sliding parts of the harp upward. The lamp is in excellent working condition. The porcelain and brass are also in excellent condition.
