This brass Victorian table lamp was originally oil or kerosene and later electrified. The original brass font, which held the kerosene, is extremely ornate. Note the standing cupid or putti with outstretched hands holding the font. The casting detail on the figure and ornate base is exceptional. The printed shade depicts 4 cupids in different poses. The lamp is in excellent working condition. The on/off switch is located on the socket. The height to the top of the socket is 22”. The height to the top of the shade is 27”. The width of the bottom of the shade is 14” in diameter. The shade and lamp are in excellent condition.
