This dramatic French marble top could serve a myriad of purposes. Imagine using it as a bar; or as a dining room server or buffet; or as a hall table with a mirror above. It will make quite a statement wherever you place it. The pale rose and wine colored marble is shapely and original. There is a slight roughness just above one of the columns measuring an inch wide. It barely shows and does not detract from its presence. Notice the highly figured maple graining throughout – beautiful. Each column has an ornately cast bronze capital and trim along their base. Each shelf displays additional cast bronze trim along their edges. The drawer and either side of it has raised panels of burl. The hand dovetailed drawer retains it’s ornately cast bronze pull. The finish is original and in excellent condition having a desirable, warm color and patina. Behind each shelf is a mirror which is also in excellent condition. What a gem!
