Imagine the many uses for this 3-shelf walnut, late Victorian stand. It could readily be used as a server or buffet in a dining room, as a divider to separate the living and dining rooms or add casters and it would make a lovely pastry cart! The server has a delicate looking spindle gallery on 3 sides. Notice the carved twisted columns holding up the 2 top shelves. Below the bottom shelf are 2 drawers with incised and butter print carvings. The drawers have cast brass pulls and key escutcheons. They also retain their original working locks. Note that this open shelving unit is finished on all 4 sides and can easily be placed away from a wall. The finish is in excellent condition having a warm color and patina.
