This large silver plated and crystal epergne or centerpiece was manufactured by the Württemberg Metalwork Factory (WMF), Germany. The design is classic Art Nouveau. The centerpiece comes in 6 separate pieces. Notice the detailed design work on the silver plated boat shape base. There are 2 shapely removable glass inserts. The elegantly draped woman is raising her arms holding the cut crystal bowl with vase. The silver plated center section of the figure measures 12” tall. The woman, bowl and vase are all separate and removable. The bowl measures 11” diameter. The vase measures 10” tall. Notice the fine cut and etch work in the glass pieces. The silver plating is in excellent condition. The glass pieces are also in excellent condition except for a very small chip on the tip of one of the crystal boats at the base. What a dramatic statement this will make in any home.
