This original oil painting on board is signed C. Wieners. The still life depicts a draped printed fabric with a cockatoo, green glass bottle vase with ivy against a large platter. The subjects are well executed and the bold brush strokes capture the rich colors and textures. The 3” wide gold frame is original and in excellent condition. The painting has some minor rubs around 2 of the edges but nothing distracting.
