This large pair of solid brass andirons is boldly designed. The castings are well defined and highly detailed. The andirons rest on paw feet with a roaring lion face resting above. On either side are profiles of griffons. The andirons rise to a tall spire. Each is attached to a cast iron bar which is designed to rest inside the fireplace and support the burning logs. The andirons are in excellent condition and will make a commanding, but purposeful presence in your home.
