This pair of Victorian marble sinks is a treat to behold. Rarely do you find ones with their matching mirror backs. The shapely Carrara marble mirror frames retain their original beveled mirrors which are in very good condition. The mirror frames measure 40” tall by 30” wide. The sink tops measure 30” wide by 21.5” deep. Notice one top rests in a wooden crate and that’s because it has a break or crack in front center of the bowl and between the hot and cold faucets. This would need attention before installing. The wood crate was designed to safely transport the sink to our location and obviously would be removed when restoring and installing. The other sink top is in very good condition. There are no obvious stains to the tops. The sink bowls are also original and in very good condition. The nickel over brass faucets are as pictured and extremely unique. Each sink has its original 3 piece sink skirt or apron and a pair of original fancy nickel plated legs. One sink is pictured with its original 2 side skirt/apron holders (also called wall pockets) that attach to the wall and receives and supports the marble side skirts. The other sink is missing its side supports but a restorer should be able to find an appropriate alternative. The mirror frames were originally designed to rest on the sink tops and have holes where screws were used to further secure. There are additional holes where accessories were attached and possibly a shelf. These are remarkable and what a statement they would make in any home. They are a true matching pair.
