This rare display cabinet originally held Kaywoodie Drinkless pipes which were renowned for their briar wood pipes and their “Drinkless” attachment. The attachment was advertised as cooling the smoke from 850 degrees in the bowl to 82 degrees when it entered the mouth. The wooden case retains its original gold stenciled lettering and finish. There are 2 sliding glass doors having their original brass hardware. The case retains its original lock and working key. Most likely originally there was a backing that allowed pipes to be attached and displayed for selling purposes. This can be easily replaced or shelving can be attached instead. The case has an interior depth of 2 ¼”. The finish is in very good condition. What a cool display case.
