This small size 3 part walnut Victorian bookcase is extremely hard to find. These are usually much taller and wider. Notice how the center section steps out and is much deeper, larger than the side units. Amazingly, this bookcase comes completely apart in at least 4 pieces which makes it easy going up staircases, etc. Notice the boldly designed cornice and the unusual, finely carved trim on either side of the doors. Each door retains its original glass, working lock and decorative brass key. The center door has 3 adjustable shelves and measures 18.5” deep and 21.5” wide. The end units measures 13” deep by 17” wide and each has 3 adjustable shelves. Some of the shelves are original and some are later replacements. The finish is in excellent condition having a warm color and rich patina. This handsome bookcase would be a star in any room or home design.
