This beautifully embroidered silk fan is from the Victorian period. Its condition is amazing considering its age and silk composition. There are no breaks or rot in the fabric. The embroidery work is exquisite. The frame appears to be made of a natural material such as bone and is delicately carved. The back of the fan has some staining. There are 4 tiny areas that bled through to the front. These are only visible upon very close examination. What a beauty to add to your collection or wardrobe!
